Job Title: Electrical Engineer - WHITE BEAR LAKE, MN Job Description: Ware is working with a company in the northeast metro that is looking for a experienced Electrical Engineer with PLC programming experience to join their team! . The candidate would be responsible for production engineering documentation for a variety of motor controls as well as developing new and custom electrical enclosures for weighing and metering equipment. Essential Functions: 1.) Utilizes AutoCAD Electrical to prepare schematics, field wiring diagrams, back panel layouts and enclosure door layouts. 2.) Work with salespersons and customers to assure design and sequence of operation meets their needs. 3.) Develops PLC programming, manuals, PIDs, and any other required documentation for custom automation enclosures. 4.) Coordinate drawing approval with customers. 5.) Enter BOMs and Sales orders into ERP system. Competencies: 1.) Knowledge of UL508a and NEC. 2.) Strong technical knowledge of PLC utilization for process integration. 3.) Strong project management capabilities. 4.) Strong customer relationship capabilities. 5.) Must be able to determine priorities and manage a number of projects at one time. 6.) Ability to both take direction and work independently. Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment and be required to travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday with an estimated total of 40 hours per week. Schedule may fluctuate based on business needs. Travel: Travel expected for this position is 10-20%. Education and Experience: 1.) Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 to 5 years experience in an electrical engineering role, or equivalent education and experience. 2.) Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office products. 3.) Experience working with shop personnel and assisting in product check out. 4.) Experience with interacting with customers via phone, email and on-site. 5.)
