Electrical Engineer - Digital Board Design

Familiarity/Experience with the following:

-Microprocessors (including uPs embedded in FPGAs)

-Memory (DDR, NAND Flash, NOR Flash, EPROM, .)

-FPGAs (including VHDL code development)

-Ethernet Switches

-Power Distribution (using regulators)

-Power Management/Sequencing

-Clock Management

-Reset Schemes

Digital Board Schematic Capture

Digital Board PWB Layout

FPGA VHDL Development

Typical Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Proven experience with developing medium complexity digital boards from the requirements definition, architecture, preliminary design, detailed design, PWB layout, product documentation release, board build support, board test, system test support & support to production phases.

  • Proven experience with developing low-to-medium complexity FPGA VHDL code from the requirements definition, architecture, design, simulation, test and integration phases.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Proven experience with developing high complexity digital boards from the requirements definition, architecture, preliminary design, detailed design, PWB layout, product documentation release, board build support, board test, system test support & support to production phases.

  • Proven experience with developing medium complexity FPGA VHDL code from the requirements definition, architecture, design, simulation, test and integration phases.
