Fabricates, tests, installs and designs corrections of FAA approved electrical and power transmission capability modification kits, if needed.
Analyzes facility and workstation electrical system power supplies and availability. Makes recommendations as to power system upgrades, modifications and installations.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description. and Supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize output. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.
Will relay any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.

ASRC Federal System Solution was recently awarded a seven (7) year program called FAA NAS ESS (National Airspace System Engineering Support Services) contract. Join our growing team as this is a new position that will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace Systems (NAS). Power Transmission Services program by analyzing and testing electronic system performance and power transmission capabilities, as well as produce engineering prototypes, studies and technical documentation for various FAA technologies, workstations, terminals and electrical subsystems.

Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronics preferred) and will give consideration to other technical degrees such as physics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics or chemistry
Two years of related experience to include electrical circuits, circuit elements, equipment and systems
Experience with hands-on testing and evaluation of entire systems, troubleshooting and providing solutions for future design improvements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required)
Ability to travel up to 25%
