Lockheed Martin Electrical Engineer in Sunnyvale, California
The Remote Sensing Program Payload group is looking for a strong candidate to support electronic hardware development for space applications. The candidate will work in a Subcontract Management Team environment and will follow a payload hardware product through the design, manufacturing, and test of the hardware, ensuring a balance in execution between technical requirements, program cost and delivery schedule. The successful candidate will have a background in electronic design or systems engineering, and possess degree in an accredited program in a related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics. The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate verbally, develop concise and professional technical presentations, and deliver briefings to peers, leadership, and US Government customers. The candidate must be able to work in a classified environment.
Basic Qualifications Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Experience as a delegate Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) Experience assisting in the development of technical specifications for space hardware Experience supporting hardware component/subsystem development from system requirements definition, design, integration and test through acceptance testing and verification. Ability to obtain special access TS/SCI clearance
Desired skills Experience as a delegate Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) of analog and digital electronics Experience working with Subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers Familiarity with other engineering processes, disciplines and Subject Matter Experts Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, FRBs, etc.) Experience assisting with as-built pedigree and quality documentation reviews Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification Experience in various phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle Experience interfacing with peers, management and government customers Proficient in presentations and in written communication skills
