Description Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering firm, has a new opportunity for a student intern to provide electrical, and Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) engineering support to our project managers. We are seeking motivated and achievement oriented individuals looking to gain practical hands-on experience outside of the classroom. Job Expectations: As a student intern, you will perform routine engineering support duties requiring professional training but little or no experience. You may be assigned, under close supervision, to simple engineering data analysis, data assessment, data entry and formatting and organizing information for reports. You may also perform basic AutoCAD or Revit authoring tool input or modifications to existing drawings, and also provide basic project support such as formatting and distributing meeting notes; project filing, field site visits, and other general support of project engineers. Desired Skills and Experience: To qualify for an internship, you must be enrolled in a full-time program (nine credit hours per semester) seeking a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a design to work in the electrical or instrumentation or controls fields. You also must be in good standing and carry an overall GPA of least 3.0 in your core curriculum, as well as a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. Candidate must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
