Electrical Engineer (Job Number: 189583W-01)
Proactively identifying, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical and instrumentation to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing facilities.
Daily monitoring of maintenance performance in the facility.
Liase with the external body especially Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, site Electrical consultant etc.
Manage and train a group of Chargeman and instrumentation technician
Design and execution of experiments to improve maintenance performance.
Monitor plant performance and drive proactive continuous improvement of maintenance work practices and procedure.
Working with plant operational ring teams to drive continuous improvement efforts.
Support for new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with others in the company.
Execution of detailed projects covering technical aspects of manufacturing.
Implement the plant preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Cost, material and efficiency studies.
Leadership of project teams, where appropriate.
Design and development of operations protocols, processing equipment installations and plant upgrades.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. Knowledge in Instrumentation is an added advantage. Significant previous experience in similar position. (Min 5 years envisaged).
Proficient in operating at least one computerised business operating system and in PC Software such as Microsoft Office. Familiar with the SAP system would be preferable.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English, including proficiency in telephone communication.
Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and attention to detail.
Highly developed and effective time management capability.
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyse potential manufacturing problems and initiate appropriate solutions.
Ability to organise and run effective meetings
Current driver’s licence
Proven ability to:

Previous experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry or Oleo chemical industry.
