KBRwyle Electrical Engineer in MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma
This position will support our Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS), B-1 and B-52 customers, by solving electrical sustainment issues. The sustainment projects address obsolete components in multiple instrumentation, control, power, electronic, electro-mechanical interface systems. The engineer will be responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic systems. Under direct supervision, the engineer performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Uses judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives. Performs specific and well-defined assignments:
Develop technical documentation and publications relating to users, systems, processes, work flows, operations, products, and services.
Create new electrical schematics
Ensure proper system artwork generation
Implement design changes of existing components
Write engineering change orders and reports
This position requires a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field. The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Aerospace or ATCALS experience are definite pluses. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills using Skills in SolidWorks Electrical and NI Circuit Design Pro. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is preferred.
This is the entry-level position for the engineering disciplines. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
