This position requires an experienced Electrical Engineer that has relevant experience in Intrusion Detection Systems and Expertise in Access Control Design Engineering The purpose of this contract is to provide best-in-class global security engineering and supply chain management services in support of the U. S. Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Countermeasure Directorate (DS/C) The principal place of performance for this contract shall be at the contractor's site(s), with delivery of supplies to Government sites worldwide. Some Performance Work Statement requirements shall be performed at the Government's site(s) in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

Essential Job Functions:

Experience in Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems such as Lenel, Pelco or similar products

State Dept program experience is preferred

Strategic Planning, Solution Development, Project Management, Solution Sustainability; Security Engineering and Technology Development.

Level of Supervision:

Supervises Access Design Engineer functions and personnel; supervised by Program Manager.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering, Computer Science or System engineering.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to provide expert-level engineering, design, implementation, technical support, and consulting services on new product developments and technological applications that are similar to those employed by the DOS.

  • Supply Chain Management experience.

License & Certifications:

PE a plus.
