Zebra Technologies Intern - Electrical Engineering in Lincoln, Rhode Island
We are looking for a Hardware Engineering Intern that applies standard or modified techniques to problems for which precedents or probable solutions are known. They will receive general supervision as to objectives and results expected. Selects standard approaches or modification independently. Receives supervision or assistance on complex problems.
Engineering Verification Testing
Analyze system power requirements, evaluate implementation of power solutions for the mobile printing market
Design and develop electrical boards for instrumentation and test of mobile power solutions.
Assist in benchmarking analysis of energy storage components.
Construct and test feasibility models, and proto-types for new technologies.
Create designs, documents and drawings.
Develop automated test scripts for synchronous stimulation of test equipment (ie supply, load, chamber, DMM).
Develop hands-on experience operating test equipment including Oscilloscope, Voltage Meter, Ohm Meter, Microscope.
Must be actively pursuing Undergraduate level course study in Electrical (Computer) Engineering
Course work must include Physics, Electrical theory, Circuit theory, Digital Circuits, Computer Science
Candidate should demonstrate hands-on lab experience, preferably in the Electronics field
Candidate should demonstrate hands-on experience operating test equipment including Oscilloscope, Voltage Meter, Ohm Meter, Microscope
Understanding of Digital Design concepts required
Working knowledge Microsoft Office suite including Word, Power Point, Excel Required
Solid communication and interpersonal skills required
Schematic Entry Skills a plus
C Programming Skills a plus
Matlab/Python scripting skills a plus
