In this role, your responsibilities will include powersystem coordination modeling, conceptual design development, layout andselection of equipment, development of contract drawings using 2D and 3Ddesign approaches, BIM design, bid package preparation, fieldinvestigations, and support during construction. We are looking forcandidates who have a passion for building things, meeting new people,mentoring staff, and collaborate with seasoned professionals who performindustrial and municipal electrical, and other water/wastewater work.Primary responsibilities include:Serve as Project Manager, Task Manager, or perform as lead discipline(electrical) person on projects as appropriateServe as a supervisor for electrical and I&C staffScope and budget projects, identify method of project execution andcoordinate staff assignmentsSuccessfully manage projects and I&C or electrical designs to be on time andon budget using company systems and toolsSupport client development teams by connecting key technical experts withinthe company in support of developing new business opportunities and respondingto proposal requestsCollaborate with a national team of technical experts, technical sellers,and the national discipline lead for the Electrical and I&C groupBuild and maintain client relationships while promoting and integratingcompany-wide initiatives and valuesBe self-motivated with an outgoing personality and excellent planning andcommunication skillsSuccessfully execute assigned tasks on time and on budgetProducing effective and accurate written documents, reports, and technicalmemorandumsTravel to client and other BC office locations as needed (travel estimatedto be 10%)Position RequirementsBS in Electrical EngineeringProfessional registration in Colorado or the ability to obtain within 6 monthsMinimum of 13 years experience as an Electrical Engineer with 5 years workingon government, municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater projectsExperience in industrial power systems design, service entrance, feederand branch circuits, lighting, emergency power and power distributionequipment.
