Position Description

Unmanned Systems is looking for electrical engineers for the Ground Control Technology engineering team. This position will design and integrate military hardware on Unmanned Systems products such as the Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS).

Daily responsibilities include creation of electronic assemblies, interconnect and cable designs, obsolescence replacement analysis, and support of testing and troubleshooting. The applicant will be expected to quickly develop expertise in developing product drawings, specifications, and test equipment documentation.


Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of DC and AC power (Single and 3 phase) systems along with performing power load calculations

  • Ability to debug electrical assemblies

  • Experience in creating test and engineering analysis reports

  • Knowledge of computer architectures

  • Knowledge of electrical subassemblies and cable design

  • Basic familiarity with Linux preferred

  • Applicant should possess a BS (MS preferred) in electrical engineering from an accredited university.

  • Internships or engineering experience in design and integration in a military product environment is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products required,

  • CAD and schematic capture software experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals is required.

  • Must interface directly with engineering, test, manufacturing, suppliers/subcontractors, field support representatives, and military customers. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate solid leadership skills, and the capability to absorb and apply technical information and processes quickly.
