Job Title Intern - Electrical Engineering (HW), Summer 2018

The Transmission group in Deer Park, IL is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join the team. A selfstarter student, interested in automotive technology, is needed to assist the group in the design and development of embedded controllers for automotive applications. Under the guidance of the senior engineering staff, the student will have the opportunity to work on new development projects in an exciting, fast paced environment.
Core Responsibilities and tasks:
• Testing and troubleshooting support of embedded controller electronic circuits.
• New electronic circuit research, simulation, and technical data generation.
• Design development activities (such as WCCA, DFMEA, & Product Validation).
• Preparation and/or modification of electrical schematics.
• Learn and apply engineering and quality procedures.
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8
• Experience with schematic entry and simulation tools. Strong computer stills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical laboratory equipment.
